EJ and Taylor are some of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of working with. EJ messaged me one night in search of a photographer last minute - his proposal plans got condensed due to work, so he was hoping to pop the question by the end of the next week. After a quick phone call to work out the details, we were ready to move forward at Medal of Honor Park the following Saturday. They walk their dog in that park all the time, so it was the perfect spot. At this point I asked EJ, "how are you feeling? Excited, nervous, overwhelmed?" and he responded that he was SO excited, and Saturday couldn't come fast enough!

About mid-week that week I took a quick trip up to South Boston to check out the park and familiarize myself with the area. Proposals move quickly, so I always make sure I'm as prepared as possible to be able to focus on capturing the moment. I had also been checking the weather all week, and we both realized very quickly that the better day in the weekend for this moment would actually be Sunday, as Saturday we were expecting lots of rain.

I had to laugh on Sunday morning when received a text from EJ saying that he ended up proposing on Saturday anyway, as it felt more organic. Naturally, we decided to use the session time to capture some engagement photos in front of their apartment instead, of course including their little dog Beau, who turned out to be SUCH a ham for the camera!

EJ and Taylor, I loved working with you both. Thank you for such a fun session full of smiles and laughter!
