Allison and Mary are recent Salem State graduates and longtime best friends and roommates. They wanted to celebrate all of their hard work and the ending of this chapter in their lives by doing graduation photos together - and I mean, what better way to celebrate? We had originally arranged for the session to take place on campus, but unfortunately due to sickness and conflicting schedules we ended up having to postpone the session until after graduation had already happened. The Governor Ames Estate in Easton ended up being the most beautiful spot for their grad portraits though, and we all agreed that it worked out perfectly for their gallery!

With grad portraits, I love to get a wide variety of photos both with and without regalia. We usually start in full regalia and then slowly change up the look throughout the session - unzipped gown, cap and cords only, gown and cords only, etc. I also love doing a variety of fun prompts with grad posing - it's a celebration, so I love having the photos reflect that! Allison and Mary totally killed this session too; they were so much fun to work with and really embraced the prompts I threw at them and made each pose their own, which I love!
