If you love fall foliage and elegant, vintage details, this wedding is for you! Everything about this wedding radiated warmth and joy despite the rainy October weather. The love Jennifer and José share is so gentle and sweet, and it was incredible to watch them celebrate with all their loved ones.

POC Couple after their wedding at the MIT Endicott House in Dedham, MA

The day started bright and early with the couple getting ready in separate rooms in the MIT Endicott House. Both Jennifer and José were anxiously awaiting the moment they would see each other for the first time walking down the aisle, though I think José was more nervous than Jennifer was! Jennifer, being the Type A planner that she is, had the whole day planned down to the minute and was super organized. In fact, when I met with her a few weeks before the big day just to go over the timeline and talk about all the details, she was already five steps ahead of me and had everything ready to go!

The bride's mother helps her get ready before her ceremony at Saint Susanna Parish.

We then headed over to St. Susanna's Parish for their first ceremony. Jennifer and José opted to do two ceremonies - an intimate, traditional church ceremony for just their close family, and then a second, more casual one with personal, customized vows at the Endicott House.

With the rainclouds starting to roll in, we had just enough time to squeeze in all of the formal family photos, bridal party photos, and a handful of bride and groom portraits before it started down pouring. The MIT Endicott House sits on 25 acres of sprawling lawns and beautiful gardens, so there are plenty of beautiful spots for photos. I loved the section of garden right behind the patio - the rustic brick walls added the perfect texture against the late October florals.

When the rain started and we had to go inside for the rest of the portraits, there was no shortage of areas in the mansion for stunning portraits of the bride and groom. The mansion details made this whole gallery feel like stills from a movie. I loved all the ornate decor - especially the vintage grandfather clock on the front staircase!

After a quick shot for good luck, the second ceremony was held inside by the fireplace. The vows Jennifer and José wrote for each other were so sweet and had the both of them in tears.

The reception space was absolutely stunning, but the thing I loved the most about this wedding was just how palpable the emotions were. You can really see through these photos just how much love is shared within this family. These are the moments I love capturing the most - the squeeze of a hand as the bride walks down the aisle, the teary smiles as speeches are shared, all the tías making sure every detail is just right.

And of course, everyone letting loose on the dance floor at the end of the night is a blast to capture, too.
